Student Life
Center for Student Involvement

The Center for Student Involvement (CSI) invites you to explore your campus community and actively engage in the many and varied co-curricular opportunities reflecting the diverse interests here at UMF. Students who become involved enhance their skills and gain valuable experiences, which are transferable to compliment your academic program or fulfill a personal interest.

How Can I Find Out About Student Organizations?

Stop by CSI located in the Einar Olsen Student Center to explore the more than 50 student organizations UMF has to offer. Organizations fall into the following clusters:

Academic focus (Rehabilitation Club, French Club, Math Club, Art Renegades etc.)
Club Sports (Competitive Ski Club, Men’s Rugby, Women’s Rugby, Swim Club, etc.)
Community Service (Alpha Phi Omega, UMF Rotaract Club, etc.)
Music & Theatre focus (Theatre UMF, Lawn Chair Pirates, etc.)
Special Interest focus (Beaver Productions, WUMF radio, Outing Club, etc.)
Student Government  (Campus Residence Council, Student Senate)

What’s Happening on Campus?

CSI offers programs, activities and events six nights weekly in the Landing. Students hired as Program Managers create ALL activities, events and programs for the Landing.

Beaver Productions is out campus wide programming organization responsible for events such as Themed Dances, Hypnotists, Comedy Nights, Illusionists, Dollar Movie Night and much more!

WUMF is our radio station with nearly 80 student DJ’s. We feature an automated system, no experience is necessary, and this organization provides sound and lighting for many of our special events as well.

Do You Have an Interest in Visual or Performing Arts?

CSI can assist in expanding your network to organizations such as the Art Renegades, UMF Community Chorus, Band and Orchestra, Theatre UMF and our own improv comedy troupe the Lawn Chair Pirates.
